Messages you send us
The contact form sends what you type (your message, your e-mail address, your name or company if you give it) and the topic and Actor you picked to our e-mail inbox as one e-mail. The e-mail also says which browser it came from (its user agent) and the country our host saw. It travels through Cloudflare, which hosts this site and forwards our e-mail, to our inbox at Google (Gmail). We use it only to reply to you and to improve the Actors, and delete it when it is no longer needed. Nothing from the form is stored on the website. The same applies if you e-mail us directly.
To stop abuse, the site limits how many messages one connection can send per minute and in total per day. For that, your IP address is used for a moment and isn’t stored. If sending fails, the site writes a short note for us with the kind of failure only, never your message or address; our host keeps such notes for three days.
Your light or dark choice
If you switch between the light and dark theme, your browser remembers the choice in its local storage, under the name theme, on your device only. Nothing else is stored in your browser, and no cookies are set.
Visits
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn’t collect personal data such as your IP address for tracking; it counts page views and visits by page, referring site, country, device type, browser and operating system, and measures how fast pages load, all in aggregate. For visitors in the European Union and some nearby countries, such as the UK, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland, Cloudflare doesn’t add the analytics script, so those visits aren’t counted this way.
Cloudflare, our host, handles the requests your browser makes (including your IP address) to deliver the pages and protect the site, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Using the Actors on Apify
When you run a fairfetch Actor, you do it on Apify, under Apify’s privacy policy. This website plays no part in that.
